Formed in autumn 2009, Voxcetera comprises 12 to 16 singers performing works from throughout the ages. The singers have many years of musical experience, performing traditional and contemporary choral works, opera, film scores, television soundtracks and popular music. Members of Voxcetera have worked with major orchestras such as the London Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, London Philharmonic and BBC Symphony Orchestras.
Since its formation, Voxcetera has received many engagements including recordings for the BBC, Silva Screen, and weddings. Whilst the singers have individually travelled abroad to sing on numerous occasions, their trip to Germany in May 2011 was the first tour as Voxcetera. In July 2011 the group made its debut singing at the South Bank Centre as part of the Festival of Britain 60th anniversary celebrations. Other events in 2011-12 included a summer concert in Hampstead, a successful concert to raise money for the Tuberous Sclerosis Society and four Christmas concerts at Brent Cross shopping centre. Sell-out concerts in Derbyshire and London rounded off the season.

The Metropolitan Ensemble has been performing in and around London since its inception in 2001. Formed by likeminded graduates from Britain's leading music conservatoires, the group regularly perform at music festivals around the UK.
In 2004, the quartet were chosen to perform live on national television for a reality programme for which they played their entire programme from memory.
Commissioning new works has been a priority of the ensemble having recently given the world premiere of Adam Johnson's new work "The Martyrs" at the prestigious Chichester Festival to critical acclaim.
In May 2012, the Metropolitan Ensemble released their second album, Chronology, a disc which charts the centuries of flute quartet repertoire from Mozart's sparkling D major flute quartet to lesser known works by Ferdinand Ries and Katherine Hoover.
